In Germany, playground equipment within municipalities is regularly replaced via public tenders. In doing so, municipalities issue specific replacement projects for existing playgrounds. Suppliers must subsequently meet clear technical and visual requirements set by the client.
Project in Eschwege
BOERplay GmbH is also increasingly realizing these types of projects in Germany.
For instance, we supplied several pieces of playground equipment in Eschwege within the “Ausschreibung 2025” project. This involved the replacement and supply of various play facilities for existing playgrounds within the municipality.
Minning into the existing environment
Within this project, we supplied, among other things:
sandboxes made of recycled plastic,
spring rockers,
a combination playset,
a carousel,
and a swing.
Within these types of projects, it is about more than just replacing equipment. The new playground equipment must blend in with the existing environment, meet the municipality’s requirements, and be suitable for years of intensive use in public spaces.
