The garden of Itamar Ben Avi primary school in Tel Aviv, Israel, was to be landscaped as a playground for the school’s children.
Playground designed by architect
An architect designed the hilly courtyard and he wanted to combine it with natural-looking FSC®-certified Robinia wood play equipment. This is a sustainable choice which also has a nice visual appeal.
WePlay, our partner in Israel, gave them a proposal with plenty of challenging and natural-looking play equipment. With a slope slide and an extensive balance course, from our Adventure Play Explore product line, it has become a natural-looking playground that contributes to the development of the children at this primary school.
Development of young children
For instance, they can do plenty of climbing in the new playground, which is good for developing their physical strength and improving coordination. When they start balancing on the trail, it contributes to their sense of balance. And when they explore through the playground, it stimulates their curiosity and problem-solving skills.
On the field for the youngest children, artificial grass has been laid as a falling surface. The playground equipment installed here is full of tactile elements and takes into account the height and age of the children in terms of fall height. Here too, a natural look with wooden play equipment was chosen.
