What if the current playing elements no longer meet today’s needs? In Kaatsheuvel, a renewed fresh playground has been added. Looking at the environment and wishes of the current playground visitors, the playground at the Krammentrekker has recently been redesigned.
Redesign with sustainable materials
The municipality has opted for a facility in which balancing and good exercise are central. For example, new wooden equipment made of 100% FSC® Robinia wood from the Adventure Play range of BOERplay has been installed. Matching the environment with a new fresh look and a safe fall surface made of rubber tiles. In this way, the playground can use it again for a long time. And the children of the Krammentrekker can play again to their heart’s content.

Practice
A sandbox with a playground in it… it seemed like a nice combination, the best of both worlds. In practice, however, children just want to play in the sand or clamber in a playground. And not necessarily at the same time. That is why they were looking for a new way to set up the playground on the Krammentrekker in Kaatsheuvel.
