After repeated complaints from local residents about the Hebelstraße playground in Bad Schönborn, Germany, it became clear to the municipality that a thorough renovation was necessary. Residents had raised concerns about the condition of the site and the need for more challenge and play value. Our sales consultant, Sven Kerzel, eagerly set to work on the playground’s makeover.
What was already there? The playground featured a rope pyramid, a play structure with a slide, a sandpit, a seesaw, and a swing. A solid foundation, but there was still plenty of potential. In particular, the youngest children and slightly older players needed additional play opportunities.
Play fun for the little ones

To provide the youngest children with more challenges, a balance course and a play tower from our Adventure Play Little Explorer range were added. These stimulate balance and motor skills, contributing to their development. The sandpit was also renewed and complemented with the Magnifying glass, allowing children to explore natural treasures. And the parents? They can relax on the new bench in the shade of the large tree, keeping an eye on their little ones.
Expansion for even more challenge
There was also room for improvement for the older children. Where they previously could only climb and slide, a new climbing route from the Adventure Play Explore range now challenges them to develop more balance and agility. This connects the toddler area with the renovated play section, making Hebelstraße an exciting playground for all children.
Sustainable and future-proof
All new play equipment is made from FSC®-certified robinia wood – a natural and sustainable material. In addition, the equipment has been installed largely without concrete, ensuring no leftover foundation waste.
With this approach, the Hebelstraße playground is once again ready for endless fun!
