Recycled plastic: sustainable and circular
BOERplay has been using recycled plastics into many products for well over 40 years. Also, all of our current and future product lines are based on a circular economy and thus maximum reuse.
In the 1980’s this path started with used up fishing ropes and -nets which were shredded and converted into sturdy, robust posts; perfect for playground equipment! These days other plastic sources are also reused in base materials for our products, such as bottle caps, agricultural plastic and product packaging. BOERplay also takes back (parts of) old playground equipment and incorporates these into new projects and designs. With BOERplay recycled plastics products you are opting for a sustainable and circular solution that guarantees decades of play, exercise, and fun!

Our new, contemporary product lines such as Basic Play (-Rocks, -Kids) and Figura Play are also made with recycled plastic. Processed as standard in the bottoms and panels, but also in the support posts as an option.
Due to the continuous innovations in the recycling industry, we can process and offer our products with recycled material more often, more widely and more diversely.
Naturally, we always keep an eye on the reusability after the product’s life cycle and the origin of the recycled materials. This way we also ensure the recyclability of both our play- and exercise equipment for the distant future.
