BOER, a wise choice When choosing play equipment, you cannot take any chances. Of course, it is great if the equipment offers hours of playing pleasure, but that is not enough. Equipment also has to be safe and strong. Boer’s play equipment meets the highest demands in terms of safety and durability. This means you can be sure that the children can play to their heart’s content and that you will have many years of pleasure from it.
Wherever possible, Boer’s play equipment is produced using maintenance-friendly materials, such as REBO, HMPE, aluminium and steel. This means that the equipment is not only better for the environment, but that it will last a lot longer too. Therefore you will make savings in terms of maintenance and longer periods of time will pass before you have to once again invest in new equipment: you will barely have to worry about this for at least 15 years. The Total Cost of Ownership will, therefore, also be limited for you. Of course, all play equipment is fitted professionally and reliably by our own assembly crews, wherever in Europe that may be.
Play equipment made of waste: the solution for a better environment. Not even one tree has to be felled for the poles, boards and beams made of REBO, yet this material still has the same warm appearance as wood. REBO is an acronym for REcycling BOer. It is manufactured from 100% recycled plastics, including polypropylene and polyethylene. Poles, boards and beams made of REBO are finished in such a way that the materials are not able to rot, become mouldy, crack or splinter. And maintenance? It is not required. REBO does not need to undergo post-treatment, nor does it need to be painted: it stays looking beautiful. Furthermore, when REBO is produced, no harmful substances are used. HMPE is another maintenance-friendly and durable material that is used by Boer in the production of play equipment and other products. HMPE stands for High Molecular Polyethylene. It is a strong, splinter-free plastic, with outstanding properties. It is water-resistant, frost-resistant, colourfast and non-toxic. HMPE also requires no maintenance. HMPE can be supplied in five cheerful colours.
Aluminium parts are incorporated in much of the play equipment produced by Boer. Aluminium can be recycled and, furthermore, has a number of characteristics that are very pleasurable to both playing children and our customers. To start with, a very important factor is the dimensional stability of aluminium. Furthermore, aluminium can be powder coated in any colour that may be required. The children can just get on with things in total safety. Even in the event of extreme cold, children’s hands or tongues cannot freeze to the equipment. As the owner/manager of play equipment, you are responsible for the safety of playing children. With that safety in mind, you will undoubtfully not want to take any risks. With Boer Play equipment, you are making a wise choice. From development through to maintenance: at Boer safety is always at the forefront.
